my heart has been full this week with so many emotions…
not only bc i am at my fifth month mark…but because my heart has been touched so many times this week by the love of the lord.

one question on my heart has been this:

why don’t we see huge miracles in the world today like in the bible…

i dont see an ocean being parted anywhere?

as a member of the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints, we believe in prophets. we know Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and that he always calls a prophet in each dispension in order for Him to direct his church…so, where are the miracles?

as i contemplated this question, i tried to look at everything has taken place in Christ’s church in this dispensation and found my answer:

CHRIST HAS DONE HUGE MIRACLES IN THESE LATTER-DAYS

-He restored His Gospel

-He has given us more scripture and another testament that He is the Christ: the Book of Mormon

-He has blessed us with so many Temples.

-He is Hastening the Work of Salvation: the age change of missionaries

and i am sure there are so many more that i have not mentioned. Now, try to imagine these miracles in the eyes of the early latter-day saints and even the people in biblical times…these would be huge miracles for them just like they are for us.
imagine you read a story of  the persecution of the Saints and how they overcame all through their faith in the Lord. Imagine reading all of their blessings and miracles. Now, imagine reading about the 80,000 missionaries that hastened the workof salvation in the last days. as i write, i imagine these stories in another book of scripture, and i can feel the hand of the lord, and i know without a doubt that these are great miracles that the lord has done.
OUR GOD IS A GOD OF MIRACLES.
and he will never cease to do miracles if we have faith in Him.

everytime i think about these miracles, i am reassured that this is His church: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
How grateful i an to be a member of the Lord’s Church. How grateful i am to  witness some of His Grand miracles, Be a part of His great miracles, and be a recipient of His great miracles.

again, this week the Lord has led me to ponder a great deal about His Church. and during this time i have continued to feel the love of the Savior. every miracle, every blessing, every trial has confirmed that i belong and am a member of the church of jesus chirst. through all my studies this week, i have been focusing on my feelings and my testimony that this is His church… why? bc contacting people who tell us they have their religion and they will not change their religion has really hurt me. i reflected on why i know the church i belong to is the only true church that has the fullness of the Lord’s Gospel. and i testify to every single person who reads this, that i know with every fiber of my being that this is Jesus Christ’s Church. How great it is to know that as members of the Church we have the fullness of the Everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ. How great is it to know that we have a living prophet who is called of God and is an instrument in the Lord’s hands to guide His Church so that His people may not be tossed to and fro with all of the different doctrines in the world.
again, He is the same ayer, hoy, y para siempre. He does not change; He does not leave us. We Change; We leave Him. And when we choose to come back, He is always there ready to wrap us in the arms of His Love.

yesterday in sacrament meeting, with my eyes already overflowing with tears, our stake president said something about baptism that made me reflect on my baptism. i then remembered that yesterday, i achieved my 12th year as a member of the church of jesus christ. i reflected on that day and then reflected on my family. How grateful i am for my parents, for my grandparents, and greatgrandparents who were faithful members and even pioneers of the Gospel. How grateful i am for the sacrifices they made to build up the Kingdom of God. and how grateful i am for the legacy they have left and for the blessing of blessing me with the knowledge of the truth.

these has been such an amazing week filled with miracles.
i wish i could write more but i dont have enough time.

i want to leave with y’all with some random thoughts:

life is not easy..and sometimes we may think that right when everything is going great, life hits us with a huge slap in the face. remember that every trial, affliction, and difficulty is for our benefit and experience.
Lean on the Lord and His Gospel and you will not fail.
Never think that living the Gospel is too hard and you will never achieve what the Lord asks of you. He does not give anything to the children of men save he provides a way for them to accomplish it. The Lord knows you better than you know yourself and if you think you can’t overcome something, know that someone much greater and better knows you can overcome it, learn from it, and grow from it.

Know this church is true. Know this is the Lord’s Church.

Joseph Smith restored His Church and Thomas S. Monson is the living prophet today.

The Bible and the Book Mormon are testaments that Jesus Christ lives, and every person who reads the book of mormon with a sincere heart, real intent, and faith in christ will receive an answer through the holy spirit that it contains the fullness of the Gospel.

“those who gain this divine witnes form the Holy Spirit will aslo come to know by the same power that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, that Jospeh Smith” restored His Gospel and is a prophet of God, Thomas S. Monson is a prophet and Christ’s revelator at this time, “and that the Church of Jesus Christ if Latter-Day Saints is the Lord’s kindgdom once again established on the earth, prepatory to the second coming of the Messiah.”

know that christ continues to do great miracles in the church and among his people.

know that Jesus Christ loves each and everyone of you. and only through him can we be forgiven of all our sins and live with Him, our Heavenly Father, and our families again in the Celestial Kingdom. He loves you so much that he was willing to bleed from every pour.
How much do you love Him?
What are you willing to do for Him?

and know that i love my Savior Jesus Christ and i love each one of you.

con mucho amor.
